Home based REHABILITATION and physiotherapy
We at ARC strive to provide high quality and personalised community based therapy within your own home. We are a small company made up of chartered physiotherapists and occupational therapists who cater for a wide range of conditions.
We have years of experience working both in the NHS and private sector. All staff are fully insured, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and are DBS cleared.
Why community rehab and recovery matters:
We already know that rehabilitation works and that more needs to be based outside hospitals, in the community, closer to home.
Our aim is to provide high quality home based rehabilitation in line with the chartered society of physiotherapy community rehab standards
Services and what we offer:
Community Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy services for the following areas:
• Bromley
• Greenwich
• Bexley
• Lewisham
• Croydon
We are also able to provide rehabiliation to care homes or residential settings within these areas.
We are open to additional areas, and if your area is not listed above please do not hesitate to contact us. Where we might not be able to provide the service ourselves, we may be able to provide additional service recommendations locally.
Rehabilitation is for all and our clinicians have the skill set to treat the following:
• Musculoskeletal conditions
• Falls prevention
• Respiratory including breathing pattern dysfunction, chest physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabiliation
• Neurology including stroke and brain injury
• Vestibular Rehabiliation
• Pre and post orthopaedic surgery
• General rehab, post critical care or recovery after a long hospital admission
We can also provide specialist occupational therapy input to discuss and review additional equipment needs and transfer aids.
our approach & FEEs
What you can expect from our visits:
For all new patients , we shall complete a pre visit consultation. This will be virtually either by telephone or on a video call. This initial consultation will give us a chance to discuss your goals, problems and how we can help you to recover and make sure that we can actually help you at this point. This will only last 10 minutes and is not charged.
• An assessment from a HCPC registered and insured clinician which will be a comprehensive review of both physical and other factors which are key to us getting the right level of rehabiliation for you or your loved one.
• We shall also, with your consent, discuss your case with your family, potential carers, GP, Hospital therapists or support network to get a full picture of what is needed.
• A plan and rehabilitation programme tailored to your needs.
• Follow up visit plans
Sometimes progress can be limited but we will remain honest and realistic with you. Sometimes rehabiliation may be helpful to maintain your current level of function or ability and we will again discuss this with you directly.
Cancellation Policy:
We reserve the right to charge full price for any cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time and date.
